The Festival of Lurve…
I sadly won’t be at home for Valentine’s Day this year and will therefore be unable to produce a glorious Valentine’s Day special menu to show off how good a cook I am celebrate with Partner. He will have to fend for himself on his usual diet of dry crusts and slightly brackish water. Sad.
We’ll have to defer the celebrations to the following weekend.
However, clearly people out there are giving this some serious thought and are producing favourite recipes in heart-shaped forms, or coloured all shades of wobbly pink in time for next weeks 14th February celebrations.
I’ve seen pictures of steaks cut into heart shapes, scallops trimmed like little hearts, pink jellies, heart-shaped pink cupcakes and many other fabulous ideas besides.
So what are you going to be doing, food-wise, to celebrate the Festival of Lurve with your significant other , if you have one?
