Welcome In, Chorizo Sisters
Oh, I’m definitely in danger of swooning with this one. Definitely.
I already have an unfeasible love for pork belly and chorizos, two of my favourite meat things on the planet.
But I have just found a dish that combines the two, which I am itching, just itching to try. It’s a slow one-pot oven bake of Chorizo, Pork Belly and Haricot Beans. In a rich, unctuous, spicy tomato sauce.
I have discovered that Anneli from the wonderful Delicieux blog and the lovely Emily from The Nest both have a similarly worrying love of chorizo, and as such we are henceforth christened the Chorizo Sisters. Our mission is to preach the delights of the spicy red sausage to the masses. From our Ministries in SW France and Ireland.
Look away now, boys: it’s not likely to be pretty.
Much chopping, comparison of length, breadth, spiciness….you get the picture.
Only joking

Hello my sisters Lucy & Emily! How wonderful to have found such lovely ladies to be in this spicy sausage family
Lucy, this looks and sounds too delicious to be true. Please post the full recipe asap! I am in fact, planning a Seafood Stew with Chorizo for tomorrow night which I will be blogging in the very near future. Perhaps us 3 should have a little blog swop/ guest post challenge? We could all come up with a Chorizo recipe and each one post on one others and people could follow the sausage trail so to speak between all 3 of our sites…? Just an idea.
Wishing you both a big fat spicy sausagey weekend xx
That sounds good. In the meantime, here’s the link to the recipe. It looks pretty simple so I’m sure it will taste good with all those string flavours and the lovely fat beans to take up the taste. let us know how you get on!

Just another thought…if we did do a blog challenge – would it be wrong to call it a Chorizo Mange a trois? (oh the puns are just endless don’t you agree?)
The possibilties are Legion!!
Looks wonderful. I have lots of homemade chorizo beckoning me from their position above our woodstore and lots of pork belly still in the freezer (we had Berkshire pigs to clear our back garden last year) so this recipe tempts me a lot. Like the sound of a seafood stew with chorizo too. Good work sisters.
Thanks, Andrea! I feel as a producer f the core material for our obsession you should be honoured with some sort of title..
Wanna be a sister. small says I can use her blog just this once
Do you like chorizo? If so, you’re in

I want to be a chorizo sister too. Love a spicy sausage or two! Big fan of sneaking a few slices into many a stew, soup or pizza. Happy days!
