Japanese Canteen Mushu

I am lucky to have a fabulous little Japanese canteen close to where I work in London called Mushu.

Friendly, communal tables fill the place and the food is freshly cooked in front of you.

Tonight, battling the biting wind and snow flurries I had worked up an appetite, and had crispy soft shell crab, freshly made spring rolls , honey-soy glazed baked aubergine and rice. It was, as always , very good.

This is what London does best: cosmopolitan, international great food. Within a half mile I can eat Cantonese, Indian, Goan, Thai, Steaks, Italian, French, Vietnamese, Pizza, and Japanese. But tonight, this absolutely hits the spot – as always.

Spoilt for choice.
